These handmade and environmentally friendly fair trade photo albums made from sari fabric are made in a small family business in Rajasthan, India. The fabric-bound photo albums contain 30 pages of Khadda paper. The pages are separated by tissue paper and have space for up to 120 photos. Khadda is made from recycled cotton, which is a by-product of India's huge clothing industry. This paper is handmade and contains no chemicals. Since we only use unbleached cotton, it is also acid-free. It is made in rural Rajasthan by an aid organization that supports the education of women and their social status in village life. The paper may contain parts of flower petals or may not be completely pure white. Each sheet is beautiful and has a light texture, but is still very easy to write on. We recommend using ballpoint pens or gel pens; fountain pens are less suitable. We are a fair trade company and regularly visit our suppliers to ensure that the highest standards are met. All of our products are quality controlled so that we only offer you the best goods. Our suppliers receive 50% of their payment up front and we send them money whenever they need it. We never return products and we pay for damaged goods. We work with a bonus system where employees can earn up to 5% of our total order value, which can amount to an extra month's salary per year.
