Dear Customer Samsung have previously used two external filters - the EF9603 (commonly called the Magic Water Filter) and the WSF100 (slightly larger, improved version). These have now been superceeded on 2008 model fridges with the Samsung DA29-10105J. This is an EXTERNAL cartridge which fits behind your refrigerator, featuring quick release push fit connectors. Please note that this cartridge is completely different to the DA29-00003A/B series cartridges which fit inside the refrigerator compartment itself (the two are -not- interchangeable). We do offer replacements for this cartridge, however compatibles have always offered fantastic value, performance and reliability at a fraction of the cost. Instead we have our own cartridge - the Finerfilters FF10 which comes complete with fitting instructions, a convienient easy fit tool and of course full technical backing by our support staff in the unlikely event you have any trouble with the installation.
