- SALVIA BLAZE OF FIRE SEEDS: A famous variety blazing with colour, the eye-catching flower heads sit high above the foliage. Popular in traditional bedding schemes and containers.
- SOW: January to March, FLOWERS: June to October, HEIGHT: 30cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 80 Approx.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN - January to March. WHERE – In trays of seed compost. HOW - Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 20-25C. Seedlings appear 14-28 days.
- CARE - Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 20cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed free. FLOWERS – June to October. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
