• Mineral salt: the Sulawesi salt with a pH value of 8.5 is used for curing osmosis water, rainwater and fully desalinated water. Contains important minerals and trace elements to easily grow even sensitive shrimps such as red stripe shrimp.
• Use: water outside the aquarium with Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 to approx. 7 °dH and a conductivity of approx. 220 +/- 40 µS (Microsiemens). Mix a heaped measuring spoon (approx. 3.0 g) to 20 litres of water - and then gently pour it into the aquarium.
• Contents: 110 g – to increase the carbonate and total hardness of your water. Sufficient for up to 733 litres of aquarium water. Already successfully used by growers.

• Notes: Our water additive is based on on-site investigations of Lake Towut in Sulawesi/Indonesia. Result: the water chemistry differs fundamentally from general lake water types. The Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 ensures almost identical water chemistry.

Product description SaltyShrimp - Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 has been developed according to scientific analysis of the lakes of the Maliliseen system on Sulawesi and is used for curing osmosis water, rainwater, fully desalinated water, etc. It dissolves in the water only with a little effort, for this you achieve an almost identical water composition as found in Lake Towute, with a correspondingly high pH value of approx. 8.5, which reduces germ load. Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 contains all the important minerals and trace elements for health, well-being and colour splendour of the well-known shrimp species from this region. It promotes microbial regeneration in organic filter substrates. The risk of dangerous germs is also reduced by particularly promoting antagonistic (counteractive) microflora. Increases carbonate hardness and total hardness in the ratio KH/GH = 0.78/1.0. Note: Since there are still difficulties in breeding them especially with the very sensitive shrimps from Lake Towut (e.g. the Harlekingarnele - Caridina woltereckae or red stripe shrimp - Caridina striata), we have made a trip to the lakes after 2008 last in 2011 to investigate the more accurate living conditions on site and . With the very sensitive shrimp species, we hope for better long-term success thanks to the Sulawesi Mineral 8.5, which has been modelled almost identical to the water chemistry of Lake Towute. Use: Stir the Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 salt into water outside the aquarium. It only dissolves with the addition of CO2 over a few days. With a normal amount of CO2 (one bubble per second), the salt dissolves in approx. 3-4 days complete. After adding CO2, the water must then be aerated for at least 3 hours with an aerator to expel the CO2 again. Then the water is ready for use. A temperature adjustment to the aquarium water is recommended. Non-dissolved particles should be added to the aquarium. Close the tin after each use. Dosage: Osmosis water, rainwater, fully desalinated water, etc. with Sulawesi mineral 8.5 to approx. 7 °dH and conductivity approx. 220 +/- 40 µS (Microsiemens), which corresponds to approximately a painted measuring spoon (approx. 3 g) to 20 litres of water.
