SaltyShrimp Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ | 230g - Mineral salt, specially developed for bee, bumblebee and tiger shrimps. Increases the total hardness of the water
About this item
- MINERAL SALT: Mineral salt specially developed for keeping and breeding bee, bumblebee and tiger shrimps. Contains important minerals and trace elements for the health, colourfulness and growth of shrimps.
- APPLICATION: Stir the mineral salt into water outside the aquarium and then add to the aquarium (1 measuring spoon to 20 litres). The Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ salt dissolves in the water within a few seconds.
- CONTENTS: 230g - Mineral GH+. Sufficient for up to 1,530 litres of aquarium water. Raises the total hardness (ยฐdH) of the water - without significantly affecting the carbonate hardness (KH).
- QUALITY: Our minerals are produced with carefully selected ingredients in our German factory. Over 25 years of expertise in aquaristics flow into each of our products.
- NOTE: Undissolved particles can be safely added to the aquarium when mixing. Close the can tightly after each use - otherwise the salt will quickly absorb moisture.
Product description
Product description SaltyShrimp - Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ has been specially developed for keeping and breeding bee, bumblebee and tiger shrimps and is used to harden osmosis water, rainwater, demineralised water, etc. Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ raises the total hardness (ยฐdH) without significantly affecting the carbonate hardness (KH), so that shrimps from soft water habitats in particular feel at home (ratio KH/ยฐdH: 0.06/1.0). Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ contains all the important minerals and trace elements for health, colourfulness, a good reproduction rate and growth. Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ promotes plant growth and microbial regeneration in bio-filter substrates. Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ also reduces the risk of dangerous germs by promoting antagonistic (counteracting) microflora. Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ has no direct influence on the pH value. For keeping and breeding, a pH value of less than 7 is aimed for, which can be set when the biological decomposition processes start to become active. If the pH value is higher, it can be very easily influenced if the carbonate hardness (KH) is low, e.g. by using alder cones or peat (containing fulvic acid) or pH-reducing agents. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Stir the Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ mineral salt (bee salt) into the water outside the aquarium. Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ dissolves almost completely in a few seconds, after which the water is ready for use. Any undissolved particles should be added to the aquarium. Close the can after each use. DOSAGE Harden osmosis water, rainwater, demineralised water, etc. with Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ mineral salt to approx. 6 ยฐdH and/or a conductivity of approx. 200 +/- 50 ยตS (microsiemens), which corresponds to a slightly heaped measuring spoon (approx. 3 g) per 20 litres of water. Measuring spoon enclosed. CONTENTS - 230g (sufficient for approx. 1.530 litres of aquarium water) Directions Add 1 teaspoon (approx. 5g) of Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ to 40 litres of osmosis water, rainwater, or fully desalinated water. Stir well until completely dissolved. This will increase the total hardness (ยฐdH) to approximately 6 without significantly affecting the carbonate hardness (KH). Repeat the process if necessary to achieve the desired hardness level.
