Need to hang some thick cabinet doors? You just found your hinge! Regular 35mm hinges are perfectly fine when it comes to standard 3/4" thick doors. But if you've decided to kick things up a notch by making your doors of a more substantial thickness (up to 1 1/2"), then this is what you need to hang them. As a member of Salice's "F" series, it combines a 40mm cup and a specially designed hinge arm to allow doors to "turn on themselves" a lot more, which prevents binding even when doors are spaced as closely as 3/32". Wow! There's another advantage to using this hinge. When combined with the proper mounting plate (sold separately), you can increase the "tab distance" (the space between the hinge bore and the edge of the door) up to 7/16". This means if you have a door with an edge profile, you don't have to worry about the possibility of the hinge hole coming through the face of the door! This "full inset" hinge is a great choice when making beaded inset cabinetry with the carcass side being made flush to the inside of the face frame.
