Rycote Windjammers for lavalier microphones are designed to significantly reduce outdoor wind noise and plosives. They are a must-have if you use lavalier mics outdoors or indoors in windy conditions. They work with lav mics on clips or necklaces, can be pinned to clothing, and can even be used underneath clothing layers to remove unwanted rustling noise. The Lavalier Windjammer features the same, high-quality sythetic fur material used by Rycote in its professional range of windshielding kits for the Film, TV and Broadcasting industries. In 1969, Rycote introduced the world's first microphone windshield system for location sound and electronic news-gathering (ENG).
