- The triple layer wicking rug with detachable neck is one we thoroughly recommend for colder months and particularly when short of time. Not to be confused with a basic fleece – this rug is triple layer, but quilted to reduce bulk, and wicks away moisture from the coat quickly whilst the thickness and fabric composition keeps the horse warm. So they are absolutely ideal after exercise, bathing, travel or in the very cold months just as an extra layer for warmth.
- There is soft nylon lining at the chest and along the mane line of the neck cover to help prevent friction and rubbing.
- The neck cover, when required, fits to the D rings fitted on the rug by three straps with clips and has double neck fastenings. The quilting is square pattern.
- These triple layer wicking/cooler rugs wick away the moisture very quickly leaving your horse warm and dry and the moisture lifts to the outside of the rug amazingly quickly – if you leave the rug on the horse it this will just evaporate so then no need even for drying the rug out!
