The weight of this rug makes it extremely useful for Autumn/Spring use and for hardier or non clipped horses in colder weather. The under side of the rug has soft nylon lining to help keep the coat smooth and reduce the possibility of rubbing. Other features of this most useful rug are generous tail flap with reflective strip and detachable webbing leg straps which have not been sewn in so can be removed easily if not required or if they get broken can be easily replaced without incurring expensive sewing repairs. There are double adjustable chest straps with D rings and quick release clips (very useful in colder months as makes the rug much quicker to put on and off) and shoulder gussets allow for easier movement for the horse.
