The Shetland-miniature-donkey-Section A 200g stable rug with collar can be worn as a stand alone rug or part of a layering system. The rug has a soft nylon lining to help prevent rubbing and keep the coat smooth. For ease of movement, particularly when standing up/lying down, there are generous shoulder gussets and these also help to prevent friction and rubbing. There are double adjustable surcingle straps with rubber washers to help stop the straps unfastening. The rug has a generous tail flap and a fillet string is fitted to help keep the back end of the rug in place. At the chest there are double adjustable chest straps with D rings and quick release clips - the advantage of this being that once the straps are adjusted to the right size putting the rug on and off at the chest is quick and easy as just two clips to attach. This feature is particularly appreciated in colder weather! There is also Velcro at the chest for extra security. Fleece collar detail gives the rug a smart appearance. The rug is machine washable and comes packed in a zipped bag with handles - ideal for storing the rug when not in use.
