• Tough 1200D Teflon coated waterproof/breathable outer fabric with a 100g filling and soft nylon lining to keep coat smooth and help prevent rubbing. The Teflon coating ensures the outer is more stain and moisture resistant, because of this rain beads off making it less heavy and quick to dry out
• The 100g filling helps the horses to stop getting chilly if the weather turns wet and windy, as it just acts as a bit of a buffer between the horse and the elements without overheating them. It is an excellent rug for hardier types in colder months or brilliant in Spring/Autumn when more than a no fill is required.
• Combo neck with double Velcro neck fastenings and elasticated poll to help prevent wind/rain going down the mane line
• Double adjustable chest straps with D rings and trigger clips making putting on and off quick and easy. Detachable webbing leg straps and double cross surcingles with rubber washers
• Generous shoulder gussets allow freer movement and helps to prevent rubbing. Reflective strips to chest, hind quarters and tail flap
• Machine washable and packed in a zipped bag with handles, ideal for storage when not in use

This most useful of rugs features 1200D waterproof, breathable and Teflon coated outer fabric (5000mm/5000g/m2/24hrs) – the benefit of this being that they are tougher, more stain and moisture resistant so rain beads off the fabric making them less heavy and easier to dry out. There are double cross surcingles with rubber washers to help stop unfastening and the whole rug is lined with soft Nylon to help stop the coat rubbing and help to keep the coat shiny. There are generous shoulder gussets to allow the horse easier movement. There is a very generous tail flap with reflective strip and fillet string. There are webbing detachable leg straps which can be easily removed if not required. At the chest there are double adjustable chest straps with D rings and strong durable trigger clips – the benefit here being once the chest is adjusted correctly for the horse then putting on and off is quick and easy as just two clips to fasten. The rug has a combo neck with double Velcro neck fastenings with flap to protect and a particularly good feature is the elasticated poll which helps to keep the neck in place and prevent wind/rain going down the mane line. Taped seams also feature. There are reflective strips at the chest and hind quarters and on the tail flap which are extremely useful for visibility especially if having to lead on roads. The rug is machine washable and comes packed in a zipped bag with handles – ideal for storing the rug when not in use.
