For glass demi-johns, insert the airlock into the centre opening of the rubber bung, then place the bung into the bottle neck. Each rubber bung measures approximately 28 mm high, 32 mm across the top and 25 mm across the base. Please check the neck dimensions of your demi-john before ordering. For fermentation buckets, install a black rubber grommet into a suitable drilled hole in the bucket lid, then insert the supplied airlock through the centre opening. Each grommet measures 16.2 mm in outer diameter and 8.6 mm in inner diameter. The 8.6 mm inner opening is specifically sized to fit the supplied airlock securely. Simply add water to the bubbler airlock and monitor the bubbles as fermentation progresses.
