• How to replace a band saw tire
• 1. Unplug the band saw, release the blade tension and remove the blade. Then remove the band saw wheel.
• 3. Slide part of the tire onto the rim, then slide a short rod or tube between the tire and the wheel. Roll the tube around the rim once to compensate for the elasticity of the tire.
• 2. After removal, completely remove or cure the old tire and all residue.
• 4. Squeeze a small amount of glue onto a brush and apply to the tire and wheel surface. Roll and repeat around the rim. Allow the glue to dry for 24 hours before using the saw again.
