This 2m RS485 to RJ45 cable is designed for connecting a waterproof solar charge controller to a remote meter or Wi-Fi module for advanced monitoring and changing parameters of your solar system. The cable is designed for use with the Photonic Universe PU1024BW series solar charge controller which is used in Photonic Universe folding solar charging kits or available separately. This cable can be used to connect the solar charge controller to a remote meter (MT50/MT52) or Wi-Fi module (EBOX-WIFI) to monitor various charging parameters such as voltage, current (separately for solar panel / load), battery state of charge, etc. By connecting your solar charge controller to the remote meter or Wi-Fi module you will unlock a range of exclusive settings for the controller; providing far greater control over the solar power system.
