It can serve as nutritional support for dogs with diabetes mellitus. The formula is distinguished by a reduced content of easily digestible carbohydrates to help optimally manage postprandial glucose levels. At the same time, a high protein content helps maintain muscle mass, while a moderate fat content facilitates weight control. The size of the kibble is specially adapted to small jaws and also takes into account the typical sensitivities of small dogs in terms of digestion, teeth and urinary tract. The daily ration should be adjusted according to weight and body condition (lean, normal, overweight): A dog weighing 4 kg needs about 91 g per day for normal weight.
