Lyngby Porcelæn was founded in 1936 in Kgs. Lyngby. Between 1936-1969, the company had a strong influence on Danish design and porcelain production with the "Lyngby Vase" and with designers such as Axel Brüel. After 43 years of "radio silence", Lyngby Porcelæn appeared back on the market in 2012. The company behind the well-known "Lyngby Vase" was once one of the largest porcelain manufactories in Denmark and was taken over by the Rosendahl Design Group in 2016.
