Product Description A punch down tool also known as a krone is a small hand tool used by telecommunication and network technicians. They are used for inserting wires into insulation-displacement connectors on punch down blocks, patch panels, keystone modules and surface mount boxes. Impact types are the most common punch down tools which have a handle, internal spring and removable slotted blades. The punch down tool is a specialist tool that should definitely be in the tool bag of technicians in the telecommunication and network industry and is ideal for telephone engineers as there are no other tools that would be able to do this job as reliably and safely as the punch down tool without damaging the connectors.
