Product Description ROLINE FTP Patch Cable Cat 5e - For safe and reliable data transfer in superior ROLINE quality. The ROLINE brand cables are characterised by high-quality material and solid workmanship. They are always carefully tested and meet all European standards. A robust PVC cable jacket and moulded kink protection effectively protect against damage that can lead to cable breakage. Gold-plated contacts ensure contact security, smooth data transfers and durability — even with frequent plugging and unplugging of the cable. Data transfer with the Foiled Twisted Pair patch cable offers a secure and reliable connection compared to the wireless version. The shielding of the wire pairs with aluminium-coated polyester film ensures that the cable is resistant to interference, for example due to adjacent power or data transmission cables. The Category 5e Twisted Pair cable uses all four wire pairs unlike Category 5, which is why it achieves a data transfer rate of up to 1 Gigabit per second and is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet networks with longer line distances. Thanks to the precisely manufactured RJ45 connectors, which have a high compatibility with other network components, such as hubs, routers or switches, PCs or other terminal devices can be easily connected to them.
