About the Startup Describe your product in 3 words. Powerful, intuitive, fun How did you come up with the idea for this product? We came up with the BLOCKS system after creating another next-generation instrument: the Seaboard. An evolution of the piano keyboard, the Seaboard introduced a new, touch-sensitive silicone surface for playing a huge variety of sounds in all kinds of expressive ways. The Seaboard is great and popular with musicians, and we wanted to make this groundbreaking technology accessible to many more people — regardless of musical skill level or budget. The Seaboard Block, Lightpad Block and other Blocks were carefully engineered to be portable, fun, and easy to learn — but also very powerful and technologically advanced music devices.
