Description The Rockwood 490.26D automatic door holder is made of brass with a satin chrome plated finish, has a wall-mounted strike with 2" projection, and includes fasteners to attach the holder to a metal or wood door and the strike to a drywall or masonry wall. The door holder's roller catch automatically latches to the strike to hold the door open and releases with a gentle pull. The wall-mounted strike also acts as a stop to protect the wall. The door holder includes three #8-32 x 1-1/4" flathead machine screws for attaching the holder to the door and five #8 x 1" oval head sheet metal screws and three plastic anchors for attaching the strike to the wall. Slotted mounting holes permit alignment adjustment of the body during installation. The satin chrome plated finish matches the Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA) 626 architectural finish code. The door holder meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/BHMA A156.16: L01291 specifications.
