The Ridge Drift Freeline Skates are a Japanese phenomenon, which was recently brought to Europe. Still relatively unknown still, but quickly becoming more and more popular, the Ridge Drift Skates are two independent, square aluminium decks, made from robust materials, with two diagonal 70mm rolls, which are fastened in one direction. The ride is very similar to snake boarding. In other words, you move sideways, in a wave-like motion. It can be used to imitate, to a certain extent, the behaviour of a snowboard on asphalt. A pair of skates will be required. The movement on the road is similar to that of a snake board.
