Product description Product Description:Breathing exercise is an exercise intended to promote effective and healthy breathing control.This is the most common of the pulmonary function tests (PFTs), measuring lung function, specifically the amount (volume) and/or speed (flow) of air that can be inhaled and exhaled.This Respi-Ex deep breathing lung exerciser is an innovative system to exercise respiration through inspiration. This device is composed of a base and a central part divided into 3 chambers containing 3-float balls, different in colour (each chamber expresses the inhalation value per second: 600 (Red), 900 (Yellow) and 1200 (Blue) ml/cc ).Instruction for use: Hold the unit in an upright position.Exhale (breathe out) normally and then place your lips tightly around the mouthpiece at the end of the tubing.For a Low flow rate, Inhale at a rate to raise only the ball in the first chamber. The position should be held for three seconds or as long as possible whichever comes first.For a High flow rate, Inhale at a rate to raise the first and second chamber balls. Ensure that the third chamber ball remains in the rest position for the duration of this exercise.Exhale, take out the mouthpiece and exhale normally. Relax (Repeat)Following each prolonged deep breath, take a moment to rest and breathe normally. This exercise can be repeated according to physician&rsquos instruction.Refer package leaflet for usage and cleaning instruction.
