• This is the third in the series to commemorate World War One. This issue charts the bloody events of 1916 as the conflict intensifies. The presentation pack contains a set of six stamps with 3 x 1st Class stamps and 3 x £1.52 stamps.
• Inside the pack is details on the on the major events of 1916 at the front and at home, written by the Imperial War historian, Ian Kikuchi. There is also a reproduction of John Hodgson Lobley’s painting called ‘Charing Cross Station, July 1916: Casualties from the Battle of the Some Arriving in London’.
• On the reverse of the pack is a miniature sheet of four stamps; 2 x 1st Class and 2 x £1.33. This miniature sheet marks the efforts of the Post Office during the war. This pack is ideal as a gift or keepsake, making a wonderful addition to any collection.
