The REMO® Diplomat® Classic Fit series features the thinnest and most sensitive skins in the entire REMO range. The ultra-thin, single-layer Mylar films sound bright and open, with maximum resonance and sustain, creating an inimitably sensitive feel. They are ideal for use on vintage drums that date back to the mid-60s. Their boiler sizes were usually not standardised to today's standards. This is exactly why some of the historically proven REMO® series have been extended by the Classic Fit models. The wider step collar of these models allows the coat to adapt to all the challenges that old vintage drums face: oversized diameter, non-round kettles, thick and overlapping foils. The Classic Fit format is available for various models in the Ambassador®, Diplomat® and Powerstroke® P3 series. REMO® Diplomat® Classic Fit skins are ideal for very quiet to medium loud playing styles live and in the studio. The musical range ranges from jazz to pop and acoustic music to subtle classic rock.
