Product description
The REMO Ambassador series is one of the most popular drumhead lines in the world. The medium-thickness, single-ply Mylar foils of the drumheads produce an open, warm and resonant tone that varies throughout the series from brilliant and bright to focussed and midrange-emphasised to dark and soft, depending on the model. The Ambassador clear snare side model was Remo's first ever resonant head, alongside the Weatherking heads of the mid-1950s. In order to offer musicians more stability in the emerging rock 'n' roll scene, Remo decided to expand the Ambassador series with thicker heads. Initially, two foils with a diameter of 10mil were combined. When the DuPont company was finally able to produce Mylar in 10mil total thickness for the first time, this was the birth of the Ambassador line, which today offers the widest selection of models, both resonance and batter heads for all drum types, and is still making music history today. The world's largest drum manufacturers use heads from this series as standard equipment on their instruments. REMO Ambassador heads are ideal for soft to medium-loud playing styles both live and in the studio. They fit into a huge range of musical styles, such as pop, jazz, fusion, blues, R&B, country, folk or acoustic music.
