The motion sensor was developed to detect movements in a specific area. As soon as the sensor has been installed, it sends a wireless signal to the central alarm unit WS-100 when motion is detected. The sensor should be placed in an endangered room or in the passage area, mounting height about 1.8 - 2.4 m. The motion sensor is insensitive to pets, as long as they move up to a height of 1 m. Above the 1m height limit, the freedom of movement of pets can also be increased by changing the sensitivity of the sensor. The sensitivity of the motion sensor is adjustable in 3 steps. To save the battery, the motion sensor is equipped with an integrated sleep timer. If the sensor has reported a movement to the alarm centre, it will not send another message for the next 3 minutes. Please note this when setting up your system. After mounting the sensor in the desired location, it is important to perform a bump test to see if the sensor detects the correct area. The distance in which the sensor detects movement can be adjusted by changing the mounting angle. To reduce the detection area, the sensor is turned down or up to maximize the range. When a movement is detected, the red LED inside the detector lights up. The assembly can be done with the supplied screws and dowels. Please avoid mounting near extreme temperature sources (radiators or stoves) and between large metal objects (these may interfere with radio performance). This sensor is intended exclusively for indoor use and must not be installed outdoors. Operation requires a 9V block battery (not included). The house code and the alarm zone can be set via dip switches in the battery compartment.
