About this item
- This mould and deckle measures 30x21cm and is suitable to create handmade paper in the size of 24x15.5cm. The two pieces of this papermaking tool is made of sturdy pinewood
- To create your handmade piece of paper you need to make paper pulp first. For the pulp you can use newspapers, egg cartons, or any paper that you have on hand
- Add the pulp to a large bowl of water, the more pulp you add to the water the thicker the paper sheet. You can add liquid dye, fragrance oil, dried flower petals, herbs or seeds to make your paper stand out
- Dip the mould and deckle into the mix, lift it up and let the water drain. Then flip it over onto a towel to release the wet paper, then let it dry for several hours
- Use your homemade paper for your cardmaking or scrapbooking project. Decorate a bullet journal, photo album or keepsake box with handcrafted paper sheets. You can also use the lovely paper as background for photographs and artwork
