After everyone has selected a hiding card that determines which cockroaches you can save in the game, the search starts very organised. In a concealed, wild mixed pile of cards hide cutlery, cockroaches in different colours and chefs. The players uncover one card one after another. If it is your own cockroach, place it immediately on your hiding card Other cockroaches and cutlery cards simply stay open. Once the third cooking card has been revealed, it becomes hectic: from now on, all players try to find the four cockroaches of their colour and bring them to their hiding place. It is often quite hectic and turbulent. If the fourth cockroach was saved, you grab a winning card for reward. But only with three winning cards you get to the top of the winning staircase.
