This heavy-duty tamper resistant rat bait station from Mastertrap is the ideal solution for rat infestations. The station is made from strong, durable plastic for long life and can be used both outdoors and indoors. Dual entry allows rodents to come in from either side while keeping pets and children safe from gaining access. The station can hold two snap rat traps or your choice of poison at the same time. Each station comes with two rat traps, a removable tray for holding loose bait, and rod for block or pasta bait. (Poison sold separately) How to use 1. Place the snap traps inside the bait station as shown in the product listing. Try setting each trap before baiting to get a better understanding of the trap. 2. Bait the trap using a small amount of peanut butter, chocolate or nuts in the bait trough in the middle of the trap. You can use a tool to bait so that your scent is not transferred onto the trap. 3. To set, pull back the kill bar until it clicks and the trap locks in place. You may have to do this slowly until the pedal levels out. Please note When setting the traps you should only do so on a firm and even surface as the trigger pedal must be able to level itself. This also helps to prevent the traps from accidentally triggering. Please note that you should not test trigger the trap without there being something to dampen the striking bar, as this could otherwise distort or permanently destroy the trap.
