True to its name, X-Rap Haku – haku is the Finnish word for looking – is looking for trouble and ready to scold with big moms. When installed for action, the hooks are positioned as on a regular gliding bait, and the platform lies in the groove of the belly of the lure, out of the lane and protected from weeds and snags. At the hook, the hook platform frees itself from the body, allowing direct contact with the fish and leaving no chance for the fish to use the lure as a lever to break free. The platform also makes it easy to remove hooks because the lure body is not accessible. X-Rap Haku can be used for different presentations and it is super easy to use. The sliding action can be created either by contracting with the rod or using a stop & go recovery. Stirring the rod will create a faster rotation action from side to side, while a stop & go recovery allows for a longer glide action. A quick burn between stops mimics the escape of baitfish. 3R – Rapala Release Rig – The system is integrated to attract and remain safe when bitten.
