The OrangeRx 6ch compact receiver has been designed for FPV racing drones with carbon frames. The extra length antenna allows you to route them outside of the frame for extended range and a robust link to your transmitter. The receiver features "True Diversity" technology, this is especially important for long range flights and in situations where you need that more robust reception. If one of the antenna's cannot receive a signal due to its orientation then the satellite will use the other one to receive the commands from the transmitter. This receiver is very useful where carbon is used in the construction of your model where the antenna can be in the shadow of the airframe. The R617XL is a satellite module receiver and has a 6 channel cPPM output allowing for a single line connection with compatible devices. This satellite module has been tested with and is fully compatible with the following Flight Controllers; Naze32 CC3D KK2 MultiWii APM (2.0 and upwards) V-Bar 5.3 See attached images on how to bind the R617XL without a flight controller.
