With the Rotor Aldhu 3D+, Rotor has developed a forward-looking road bike crank system that can be freely configured and mounted without special tools and expertise. Reeds can be swapped in minutes with the Direct Mount system when using the combination chain blade in a one-piece design or with single blades with Direct Mount Spider. An Allen key is enough. Whether with round chain rings or the oval Q rings from Rotor, everything is possible and available in many variants. The Direct Mount System of the Aldhu 3D+ allows for the first time the fine adjustment of oval chain rings in 1-degree increments and thus an incomparable individualisation to the personal requirements. When configurating the Aldhu 3D+, several are available from a block milled (one piece design), chain ring combinations and press the system weight under the magic 600 gram mark. Alternatively, the crank can also be configured with a light Direct Mount Spider and two individual chain blades. The chain rings are mounted on the spider of the ALDU 3D+ and are mounted on the axle without tools using this direct mount process. To change the chain rings, only a 10-hex key is required to assemble/dismantle the crank arm of the drive side. The oval of the chain rings is 12.5 %. The chain rings can also be mounted on Shimano© 4 arm cranks in the OCP3 position, which is used by most drivers. For optical reasons, we recommend the appropriate ROTOR cover when using Shimano©.
