The Rotor Aldhu crank system is a completely newly developed concept for road bike cranks. The modular ALDHU and VEGAST cranks are extremely flexible due to their construction as modular systems (left crank arm, right crank arm, axle with DM spline) thus can be combined with a 1 compartment or 2 compartment DM chain ring or 110x4 or 110x5 spider. The crank and chain ring assembly requires only a 10 hex key, so the assembly/disassembly or a chain ring change is child's play. The Rotor ALDHU24 crank system with 24 mm axle allows installation in standard shimano bearings and bearings with a larger diameter even with tight 41 mm bottom bracket housings. for road bikes was created together with the ROTOR VEGAST and shares with it the innovative and modular construction. However, the ALDHU has been extremely trimmed to a minority, and with its only 182 grams light crank arms (170 mm length and a system weight with one-piece chain rings 50/34 of less than 600 g) offers the exceptionally high stiffness of the top class. Comparable crank systems from other premium manufacturers are well above the system price of the Rotor Aldhu. Without specialist knowledge and special tools, the assembly is done in minutes and just as easy is changing the chain rings. Thanks to the Direct Mount System, where the blades are mounted directly on the shaft without a spider, a standard Allen key is sufficient as a tool. You can choose from the revolutionary combination chain ring in a one-piece design (made from a block milled chain ring combination) and single chain rings. Both in round design or with the oval Q rings from Rotor with 12.5% ovality. Alternatively, a Direct Mount Spider can also be used, which allows the traditional installation of two chain rings with chain ring screws and extends the spectrum again. The direct mount system of the Rotor Aldhu allows for the first time the fine adjustment of oval chain rings (OCP) in one-degree steps and thus an incomparable individualisation to the personal requirements. This allows the driver to achieve the best possible approach to the best possible pedal efficiency. The ALDHU crank arms made from the high-strength and very light 7075 aluminium alloy are reworked with the ROTOR-patented trinity drilling system / hollow drilled and offer a perfect ratio of stiffness to weight.
