Product Description Quantofix hydrogen peroxide test strips are semi-quantitative in nature and are designed for easy and rapid determining of hydrogen peroxide, the test can be carried out in 10-120 seconds. They meet the most important requirements for a modern quick test. These test strips come in a plastic bottle to protect the strips. The graduation for these strips are 0-0.5-2.5-10-25mg/l H2O2. These tests are ready to use, with all necessary equipment and reagents, and are pre-calibrated to save time for the user. The test stick itself is a plastic strip of 0.2mm thickness with the test paper being sealed at the lower end of the strip. The test paper size allows for a clear comparison to the colour scale provided to determine the concentration as the test paper is of a similar size. The colour change for these test strips are from white to brown. These strips should be stored between 4 to 30 degrees centigrade. the shelf life of these test sticks is 2.5 years. The method used for these strip is a peroxide - redox reaction Directions 1. Remove a test strip from the plastic bottle. 2. Dip the test paper end of the strip into the sample for 1-2 seconds. 3. Remove the strip and wait for 10-120 seconds for the color to develop. 4. Compare the color of the test paper to the color scale provided to determine the concentration of hydrogen peroxide. 5. Dispose of the strip after use. These strips are intended for testing hydrogen peroxide in various samples.
