Product Description Quantofix nitrate/nitrite test strips are semi-quantitative in nature and are designed for easy and rapid determining of nitrate and nitrite ions, the test can be carried out in 10-120 seconds. They meet the most important requirements for a modern quick test. These test strips come in a plastic bottle to protect the strips. The graduation for these strips are 0, 1, 5, 10, 20, 40, 80 mg/l NO2- and 0, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500mg/l NO3-. These tests are ready to use, with all necessary equipment and reagents, and are pre-calibrated to save time for the user. The test stick itself is a plastic strip of 0.2mm thickness with the test paper being sealed at the lower end of the strip. The test paper size allows for a clear comparison to the colour scale provided to determine the concentration as the test paper is of a similar size. The colour change for these test strips are from yellow to orange/red. These strips should be stored between 4 to 30 degrees centigrade. The length of the strips is sufficient for easily handling even in cases where aggressive or otherwise noxious solutions are to be tested.
