Phra Phrom in Thai or Brahma in Hindus is the God of Creation. According to puranas, Brahma has four faces representing four Vedas or knowledge coming from four directions: north, south, east and west. He is also known as the Grandfather and as a later equivalent of Prajapati, the primeval first god.
