Shaft made of CrV steel, matt chrome-plated. Right/left switching is done by turning the key. Thanks to the 72-tooth inner ring made of high-alloy special steel, the drive is already done with a lever movement of 5°. Nevertheless, the transferable torque is far above DIN/ISO. Especially in case it gets extremely tight: on rear axle struts, brake calipers, automatic transmissions (little space between gear and tunnel wall), for engine removal, working on the body, for air filter removal.
