  • WHAT DOES THIS PRODUCT DO - Specially formulated to deep clean and help prevent the growth of green mildrew this cleaner will remove everyday contaminates such as bird droppings, road salt, tree sap, mildrew and mold. Cleaning your top is the first stage in the Protex soft top restoration process.
  • COVERAGE & PREPARATION - It is recommended that approximately 1Ltr. of product is sufficient to clean a top for a 4 seater car. The canvas soft top must be colourfast so test on an inconspicuous area first, to ensure fabric dye does not run. Do not apply the cleaner in direct sunlight as drying time will be to fast preventing the cleaner from working properly.
  • APPLICATION STEP 1 - Lightly dampen the surface of the soft top then starting in the middle and working towards the edges, apply the cleaner with a clean paintbrush taking care not to spill any onto the vehicles paintwork.
  • APPLICATION STEP 2 - Leave for 15 minutes at allow the cleaner to penetrate the canvas then gently scrub using hot water and a stiff brush to loosen dirt and grime. Complete the process by rinsing well with clean cold water and allowing to dry.
  • FOLLOW UP - It is recommended that the canvas is then restored using Canvas Restorer and/or sealed and protected using Protex Canvas Waterproofer.
