Suitable for all wood types with good adhesion and resistance, it has a quick drying formula that means your surface is touch dry within 90 minutes. What is Protek Royal Exterior Finish? A high grade water-repelling timber treatment, Protek Royal Exterior is a preferred choice for customers across the country. With a choice of 56 colours, the hard-wearing mix contains a mould inhibitor to protect the coating, and is low in odour and low VOCs. It is perfect for both softwood and hardwood products, on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Protek Royal Exterior complies to EN71 parts 2 and 3, which relates to safety assurances over children and flammability. This unique formulation is water-based acrylic and alkyd hybrid that incorporates a polyuerethane dispersion based on linseed oil - a renewable resource.
