Crucifix to hang on the wall that reproduces the shape and image of the cross of San Damiano. The dimensions are: height cm 40, width cm 30, thickness cm 1.5 the weight is gr 654. Did you know that? The Crucifix of Saint Damian is the cross icon before which Francis of Assisi was praying when he received the Lord's request to repair his home. When the clares moved from San Damiano to the basilica of Santa Chiara in 1257 they brought with them the original cross of San Damiano and still preserve it today. It is currently hanging in the basilica above the altar of the Crucifix chapel. Product Code: 1061A1695
