70MM FRAME EXTENSION ADD-ON (1.47M) (Choice of thickness) Strong, clip-on extensions for increasing the width or height of 70mm window and door frames. Designed to snap securely onto Profile 22 outer frames, without the need for screw fixings. These 1.47m long PVC-u frame packer add-ons are available in a choice of thickness. Frame extensions are used when the outer frame is smaller than the opening, or when clearance is required to accommodate interior plaster lines or external obstacles like fascia or cladding. They prevent the frame being buried into the plaster, or from the deep plaster line preventing full opening of a door hinge. A thick extension can also be used to allow the fitting of a trickle vent when additional ventilation is required. The frame extensions are available in four thicknesses, which can be combined with each other to provide alternative coverage - clipping a 35mm extension to a 20mm will satisfy a 40mm space.
