A polymer-water adhesive is a dispersion-based adhesive specifically designed for the direct installation of cork tiles and cladding on interior walls. It is composed of mineral raw materials, polymer dispersions, chemical modifiers, and water, forming a thick paste. The adhesive bonds and hardens as water evaporates from the mixture, resulting in a permanent and irreversible connection. This premium-quality dispersion adhesive is ideal for quick installation of cork cladding on walls and floors, available in tiles, panels, or sheets. Key features include outstanding adhesion exceeding standard requirements, exceptional flexibility typical of polymer adhesives, and a clean white color. The adhesive is suitable for application on a variety of stable, dry, primed, and clean building surfaces, such as plaster, concrete, stone, wood, or wood-based materials. It also adheres well to deformable substrates like gypsum boards (G-K), OSB panels, and insulation materials like polystyrene. The surface must be level (this adhesive is not intended for leveling), stable, dry, and free of dirt. Any unevenness should not exceed 2mm over a 2-meter length. The adhesive can be applied straight from the container. Use a notched trowel with teeth sizes between 1-4mm to spread the adhesive. For thinner claddings, a velour roller may also be used. Position the claddings on the adhesive-coated surface and press firmly into place. The adhesive sets through water evaporation, creating an irreversible bond.
