This metal melting pot is extremely useful for hobby casting with white metals as it offers an easy way to obtain the right casting temperature for Prince August casting metals or other similar alloys. The steel ladle with a wooden handle has been included. Use this ladle to extract the metal from the pot basin when casting into a mould. The pot of Stanogan solder flux is used to reclaim metal that may be held in the surface dross that occurs when heating the alloys. Just use a small pinch of the powder to sprinkle on the surface to help reduce that dross or surface waste. It is also much more energy efficient and uses only 250w against an electric cooker 1200-2000w.
