  • What is Helicobacter PYLORI (Hp)? It is a bacterium whose natural habitat is the human gastric mucosa and whose transmission occurs through the exchange of infected material oro-oral and oro-fecal. It is an extremely widespread infection: it suffers about 2/3 of the population. It is estimated that about 80 to 90% of gastritis and stomach ulcers originate precisely from this bacterium.
