Given the name, you'd think this Prickle plant was from Africa, however, this baby plant is from South America. The Alocasia Amazonica is best suited for a warm, tropical environment (temperatures between 18-26°C), ideally in your kitchen or bathroom. Give it bright, indirect sunlight where it will be happiest. If it is looking a little sad and not already in there, pop your Polly plant in the bathroom for a spa day to refresh it. It also loves to be regularly misted and watered. Overwatering will lead to yellow leaves, while underwatering or scorching will cause them to brown.
