After receiving the bare-root rose rhizomes, prune them first and then plant them to greatly increase the survival rate: - Root pruning: Cut off dry, rotten, and broken roots, retain strong taproots and fibrous roots, and shorten excessively long roots to avoid entangled roots. - Pruning: Keep strong branches, cut off thin and dead branches, keep 20-30cm of branches, and leave 3-5 full buds to reduce nutrient consumption. Roses like light, are afraid of water accumulation, and like ventilation. The planting location must ensure more than 4 hours of direct sunlight a day, have good ventilation, and avoid low-lying water, dark and closed environments. Common misunderstandings among newbies: 1. Don’t plant deeply or shallowly: Planting deeply will lead to rotten roots, while planting shallowly will be unstable and prone to lodging. 2. During the slow seedling stage, do not fertilize, do not expose to the sun, do not change pots, and wait until the pots are ready. 3. Avoid water accumulation and soil compaction in the pot soil.
