Product description This rug anti-slip underlay is a high performance Teebaud Premium underlay made in USA. Unlike alternatives, will continue to work long past the life of your rug or mat This underlay has been created to obtain the best anti-slip performance on smooth floors and the best anti-creep performance on carpet Made from two different polyester fibres needle punched together and coated on both sides with a specially formulated water-based pressure sensitive dry adhesive. This specially coating allows it to outperform underlays coated with a plain polymeric-acrylic resin It is thicker and denser compared to other underlays, this reduces horizontal movement that creates the buckling effect under the rug or mat and it gives a light cushioning effect that allows the underlay and the rug or mat to breathe together with no risk of oxidation or discoloration to any flooring surface This underlay can be repositioned periodically but avoid repositioning it frequently. It is odourless and harmless to all carpeting, smooth floors, rugs and mats May not be as effective when used with rubber or felt backed rugs or mats Installation Prior to installing the underlay, , clean, dry and vacuum the floor well Safe for use on heated floors installed for residential purposes with temperatures not exceeding 32 degrees Celsius Safe for use on LVT flooring The underlay can be cut with household scissors or a utility knife and should be cut approximately 5cm smaller than the rug or mat REMOVE THE PLASTIC FILM BEFORE PLACING THE UNDERLAY When using on smooth flooring, place the grey side down facing the smooth floor and the rug/mat on top of the black side When using on carpet, place the black side down facing the carpet and the rug/mat on top of the grey side If you have oversized rugs or mats, simply use as many pieces as required, side-by-side.
