Premier Seeds Direct - Anemone Rhizomes (Nemerosa, 25)

• GROW YOUR OWN ANEMONE - Anemone nemorosa (Wild Wood Anemone) is a native woodland plant that produces delicate white, star-shaped flowers above fern-like foliage. It naturalises well, making it ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders and beneath trees.
• WOODLAND BULBS FOR YOUR GARDEN - They grow naturally in woodland but will be happy in the garden in sun or shade. Anemone nemerosa has delicate, star-shaped flowers that sit above low-growing, fern-like foliage, creating a lovely carpet of colour in shady spots.
• MULTIPLE YEARS OF FLOWERS - After flowering, deadhead spent blooms to redirect energy back into the bulb and allow foliage to die back naturally before removing it to help replenish nutrients for next year’s growth.
• QUALITY FLOWER BULBS - Sourced from professional growers, our bulbs have undergone thorough, multi-stage quality checks and grading, and are stored in optimal conditions.

Growing Instructions Plant between October-November, before the ground freezes. Soak the corns for around 12 hours or overnight. Choose a partly shaded area e.g under trees or in woodlands Use a hand trowel or bulb planter and dig a hole which is double the depth of the bulb. Place the bulb with the pointed end facing upwards. Alternatively, for a more naturalised effect, you can throw a handful of bulbs into a larger dug-up area instead of planting each bulb individually. Gently cover the bulb and lightly compress the soil. Avoid disturbing the area after planting to allow the bulbs to multiply and naturalise over time.
