These Equal Sockets or Pipe joiners have an internal Female BSP fine thread and are for joining 2 pieces of threaded pipe together or 2 fittings with the same BSP Male thread. They can be used to join 2 or more Threaded Risers together to extend the length or to add a fitting to the end such as a threaded Hose Tail They are available in 6 sizes...........1/2", 3/4", 1", 1.1/4", 1.1/2" and 2". It is advisable to use PTFE Plumbers tape or silicone on the threads before screwing home to ensure that there is no leakage of liquids.
