• Fratton Park - a lovable old-school ground, hemmed in by terraced houses, home to the most passionate fans in the South, and one of the most distinctive entrances in English football.
• The mock tudor facade was once part of a larger pavilion built by the club in 1905. When football architect extraordinaire Archibald Leitch built the existing South Stand twenty years later, however, he sacrificed the clock tower and pavilion balcony to make way for the new structure. He retained the rear section though, and it's still there to this day.
• I've recreated the design here for this graphic art print, a unique gift or piece of art for any discerning Pompey fan.

GroundDesigns is a small British business making football club Stadium Art for football fans looking for Wall Art with a sophisticated Retro feel, a Classic vibe that feels quintessentially English and reminds every Man and Boy, every Him or Her that has ever walked out onto their Club Home Ground that they are, indeed, Home We wanted to bottle that feeling, the feeling as you settle yourself into your seat on a glorious Saturday afternoon, on a freezing cold Tuesday night in November, when you see the same faces around you week after week and you’re all there to worship at the same Church - The Church of Football. As official lifelong long suffering football fans ourselves, we’ve also had a lifetime of football related Birthday and Christmas gifts that were NOT good. From oh so wrong birthday presents as keen young football mad boys who’d just fallen hard for their team, and frankly embarrasing stocking fillers as teenagers and young men about town, to well meaning but not quite right gifts bought by girlfriends that then became wives, we’ve had them all..
